CIAC Arbitrators

CIAC Arbitrators is a group of experts working in the field of dispute resolution, contributing their knowledge and experience to the analysis and understanding of international arbitration practice. Members of this working group may be CIAC arbitrators nominated by their sections and approved by the Arbitrators Commission, as well as those invited directly by the CIAC Council for their outstanding contributions to international arbitration in the Ibero-American region.

1. What is CIAC Arbitrators?

This is an initiative of the CIAC that seeks to promote the professional development and training of those who act as arbitrators in international arbitration cases, particularly under the administration of the CIAC.

2. Who can join CIAC Arbitrators?

Professionals with experience in commercial arbitration, whether national or international, may join CIAC Arbitrators if they are:

  1. Members of the CIAC list of arbitrators.
  2. Members of the CIAC Standing Committee.
  3. Members who, due to their outstanding track record in arbitration in Latin America, have been proposed by the Standing Committee and approved by the CIAC Board of Directors.

3. Who leads CIAC Arbitrators?

It is led by a General Coordinator, appointed by the CIAC Board of Directors.

4. What are the benefits of joining CIAC Arbitrators?

You will be part of a professional community committed to the technical and ethical development of arbitration in Latin America.

5. Does CIAC Arbitrators have a membership fee?

CIAC Arbitrators membership is free of charge and is by invitation only to professionals who meet the requirements.
